"AL QAEDA IS TRYING TO CONTROL THE U.S. ELECTION"

 In 2004, Al Qaeda installed a "Socialist Government" in Spain.

Al Qaeda accomplished what it did in Spain through violence;horrendous violence. The Capital of Spain, Madrid. was rocked by train explosions in 2004.  When the bombings stopped, 200 people lay dead; and 1500 were wounded.

Spain had troops in Iraq at the time.  We had a staunch ally in Spain's Prime Minister, Jose' Maria Aznal Lopez.  Hours after the bombings, a videotape was discovered in a trash bin.  An anonymous caller had telephoned a Madrid television station telling them where the the tape could be found.

An Arabic-speaking man was on the tape. His message was short; but, quite clear. He said the bombings were for "Spain's collaboration with the criminal Bush and his allies." 

Prior to the bombings, polls showed the incumbent party maintaining control of the government.  However, once the bombings sunk into the conscious minds of spain's voting age public, and they went to the polls, a new government, made up of Socialists, was born.  Al Qaeda "Had Controlled An Election." Their man installed as the Prime Minister, Jose' Maria Aznar Lopez, was about to give his "New Allies" a huge "Thank You Gift."

Lopez is the first one to use the "CUT AND RUN TACTICS" espoused by spineless Democrats like John Murtha and John Kerry.

As an ex-Marine and Vietnam Veteran, I and still furious with my government for "Cutting And Running From Vietnam."  I lost a lot of good friends in that hell hole.

Lopez pulled Spain's troops out of Iraq quicker than you can say, "The Quick Brown Fox Jumped Over The Fence."  This coward thinks his country is safe, because he clicked his heels and did an Al Qaeda goose step.  I believe that he will rue the day that he had his men slink out Iraq like cowards. But, I don't fault the Spanish troops. I find fault with the weasel, Zapatero.

Fast forward to October, 2006.  Reports say that the insurgents in Iraq have ramped up their attacks by 22 percent over the past two weeks.  This despite the  U.S.-Iraqi operations that started in August to stem the violence in Baghdad. Seventy-three U.S. military personnel have died this month alone. At least 100 Iraqis have died each day this month.

Night after Night, "The Hit And Run Media" shows us the carnage up close and personal in Iraq. You think Al Qaeda is not trying to control the U.S. election? Al Qaeda knows that if the American people are shown a steady diet of people being killed day in and day out, Americans will start "DEMANDING" that politicians come up with a way "To Bring The Troops Home From that ravaged nation.

Al Qaeda can use as their template, "Wonderful Walter Cronkite And Vietnam" to try and shake our will: and to call for change on Capital Hill. Former CBS anchorman, Cronkite did more than any other journalists to rev up anti-war sentiment in this country against the Vietnam War. Back then, Americans were shown night after night, their sons being carried from the battlefield.

Will we turn into another Spain and allow IslamoFascists determine who will run our country? I'm not comfortable with how the President is handling the war in Iraq. This silly notion of "Staying The Course" is ridiculous.

Apparently, the man in charge of the Baghdad operation, Major-General William Caldwell IV, thinks the stay the course mentality is sheer lunacy also.  He has called for a change in how the war is prosecuted.

While I'm not happy with Bush's stay the course policy: I shudder to think what would happen with Nancy Pelosi in as the next "Speaker Of the House."  This woman is clueless.  In fact, she makes Homer Simpson look like a Mensa member.

We just can't abandon the good people of Iraq.  However, this is what the insurgents are trying to get us to do.  There are two points that liberals are constantly missing, (1) What would happen to the people in Iraq, if we were to leave? Believe me the bloodletting would be unrelenting. Point (2) If we follow the liberals template and "Cut And Run," would we not embolden Al Qaeda? Would not the sleeper cells currently in this country be activated?

"Cutting And Running" is not an option: but, neither is "Staying The Course."

Al Qaeda should not be given the power to "CONTROL THE U.S. ELECTION."
