"DIFFERENT DAY, SAME MESSAGE"

President Bush is back to being defiant on his stand regarding the war in Iraq.
Bush appears ready to tell the Iraq Study Committee to "Go Fly A Kite". The Committee will come out with a set of recommendations next week regarding what the U.S. should do in Iraq.
One thing is for certain, Bush will not support a gradual withdrawal of our troops from the embattled country. He has changed his rhetoric from, "Stay The Course," to we will not leave "Until The Job Is Done".
Bush met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in Amman, Jordan this week. The U.S. President once again announced his support for al-Maliki. Bush even went a step further, by calling the Iraqi Prime Minister, "A Strong Leader".
At joint news conference, the President was asked about a timetable for removing U.S. troops from Iraq. The President said our forces would leave the war torn country of Iraq, "As Soon As Possible".
Al-Maliki has apparently gotten the message. He now says there will be an acceleration of training for the Iraqi army and police force. It is common knowledge that Bush has been pushing al-Maliki on this issue. He wants the Iraqi army and police force to taken on a larger role, thus replacing the U.S. lead multinational forces in Iraq.
Al-Maliki said that he rejected speculation concerning the growing influence in Iraq of the Iranian Shiite leadership.
Nonetheless, al-Maliki has to now go home and face an angry Muqtada al-Sadr. The pudgy 30-something want to be cleric, vowed to order his people to vacate their political seats in the Iraqi government, if al-Maliki met with Bush. At last word, al-Sadr had a change of heart--and now says his people will not take part in the political process for now.
It is Maliki's fault that al-Sadr has grown in to the monster that he is today. The U.S. has to also share some of the blame. Our military could have arrested this murderer two years ago, but didn't. Politicians in Washington, D.C., tied the hands of the military, just like they did to our men in Vietnam. Now, al-Sadr has grown in popularity and strength. His military is said to number around 60-thousand. They are believed to be responsible for the brutal slayings of thousands of Iraqis.
If the Maliki government is to have any credibility at all, he will have to send the Iraqi army up against the thug, Muqtada al-Sadr and his militia in Sadr city. Al-Sadr and his den of vipers must be wiped out. Negotiations are out of the question with this power hungry tyrant. The only thing that he will understand is "PAIN".
If Maliki doesn't get a handle on the chaos in his country soon, a full fledge civil war will break out, and his government will crumble. And all of the platitudes from President Bush will not be able to put him back together again.
In the meantime, Bush is fighting for his legacy. If he can not turn this thing around in Iraq, he will be juxtaposed to Jimmy Carter as one of this nation's worst Presidents.
If that happens, it will be a sad day indeed: because I believe that Mr. Bush had the best intentions in the world, when he ordered the invasion of Iraq. However, he did not plan for post-Saddam.
Mr. Bush also did not understand the culture in that part of the world.
Our men and women have been fighting this war with one hand tied behind their backs. The time has come for the President to take the fetters off of our troops and allow them to do what they do best, "KILL THE ENEMY".
We should not worry about such socialist outlets as the New York Times, or CNN. Let them continue to root for the enemy. These "America Haters" need to be ostracized by the people who truly love this country.
Our men should be allowed to kill the thugs and punks in Iraq, until there is not one of them left standing.
If Mr. Bush plans on going about fighting this war as usual, then he may as well do what the democrats have been advocating, "Cut And Run".
However, if the President wants to win this war, he should take the gloves off of our men in the field, and allow them to kill as many insurgents that they happen upon.
War is indeed hell. And folks, there is nothing pretty about a war. The time has come to stop playing patty cake with these killers.
I say let our guys kill as many of these night crawlers as possible; and allow them to go to "Paradise, Where Their 24-Virgins Await Them".
