Four in ten babies born in this country last year--were born to unwed mothers. Government health officials say the out of wedlock births rate in this country has now hit an all time high.

Surprisingly, the birth rate for teen moms--normally associated with out of wedlock births, took a downward turn  last year. Government officials say the increase took place among women in their 20's.

There is no longer any shame associated with having a child out of wedlock, so says government officials. Women are saying no to marriage--and also saying no to living with the father of their offspring. Women are doing this,  so says government officials,  because society is more accepting of a behavior that used to bring great shame to a family.

All racial groups witnessed an increase in out of wedlock children. However, Hispanic women saw a larger spike in the number of women having children.

The number of women having C-sections also took a noticeable increase--despite public health officials efforts to decrease this trend.

A number  of medical experts say that C-sections are not necessary.  They say the operation is performed for (a) The convenience of the mother, or (b) Her doctor.

Slightly more than four million babies were born in the U.S. last year. More than 1.5 million were to unwed mothers. The year before that 36 percent of birth in this country were attributed to unmarried women. Out of wedlock births have been on a steady rise since the 1990's.

While this report thus far seems benign, there is a danger to out of wedlock births. Firstly, as noted above, hispanic women have seen a larger increase in out of wedlock children. Secondly, there does not appear to be a chance that this trend will change in the immediate future.

Social Psychologists have long since warned society that a child being raised by a single mother, runs the risk of social pathology. For example, Oppositional defiant disorder, Conduct disorder, and Antisocial disorder. The out of wedlock phenomenon among Hispanic women will also plague society with:

- School refusal behavior

- A spike in our welfare rolls

- An increase in Hispanic teen pregnancies

Regarding the latter point, children take on many of the mores of their families of origin. Therefore, it seems plausible that teenage Hispanic females will mimic the behavior they see exhibited by their mothers.

This nation already has 300,000,000 people. It is reported that some 50-thousand illegal aliens pour across our borders each day. When you factor in the out of wedlock crisis within the Hispanic community and the the use of welfare services, the scenario is frightening.

By the middle of this century, one in four Americans will be Hispanic. This does not include "Illegal Aliens". Right now, it is said that there are 10-20 million illegal aliens living in America. By 2050, European-Americans will no longer be the majority.  In the year, 2050, whites will comprise of only half of the U.S. population. Meanwhile,  Hispanics will make up 46 percent of this country's population over the next twenty years.

Un-married Hispanic women have the highest birthrate in the country. Their numbers are three times that of whites and Asians--and nearly one and a half times that of African-Americans, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

We are indeed in a "State of Emergency" as warned by the writer, Patrick Buchannan.

America can no longer be the home of every ethnic group on the planet. The time has come to dispense with the rhetoric, and do something about the burgeoning "Illegal and Legal Immigration" problem that this country is faced with. We need to close our borders, "NOW".

If policy makers continue to sit on their hands, America will "BECOME A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY IN ANOTHER ONE HUNDRED YEARS".
